Apparently, Mike Piazza is the hitting coach for Italy’s WBC team this year.

Mark that down as one more reason to root against Italy.

OK.  There’s really no other reason to root against Italy.  Except maybe  Mussolini.  But I’m pretty ready to let bygones be bygones on that front.

Piazza however, offers reason enough to root against anything in his proximity.  That guy’s the worst.
