Jason Giambi’s back in the big apple for the Yanks’ series against the A’s, and while he may not have brought that moustache we all came to love so much, he didn’t leave home without the quick wit. When asked about the new Yankee Stadium, Jason Giambi had this to say, “It’s gigantic, but it’s gorgeous. I’m sure it’s like when people first walked into the Titanic.”

Either Giambi never finished reading that chapter of his history book, or, well, screw you Giambi.

(Knowing Giambi as well as I do, I’m going with the former.)

During today’s press conference, Giambi spoke fondly about his time with the Yankees saying that he way happy to be back.  He also said he wouldn’t mind if he should happen to smack his first long ball of the season in the House That Jeter/Mo (take your pick) Built.

Well, Jason.  You’re in luck.  If ever there was a place for a guy to get a dinger, it’s the new joint in the Bronx.
